Glamour Girl must confess that though golf makes her yawn, she is a sucker for high heels. Could that be why she loves the idea of this fundraiser coming up on Saturday?
The House of Ruth is hosting a high heel bash on Saturday, July 23rd, in a most unlikely place — Pine Ridge Golf Course. All participants—male and female—must wear high heels while hitting their shots. The entry fee is one ball for $5; five balls for $20. All proceeds benefit the domestic violence programs at the House of Ruth.
The event is called High Heels for Hope, and it goes from 1 to 4. Prizes will be awarded for both men and women. Don’t worry about bringing your own shoes if you don’t want to—a selection will be provided. Could any of them possibly be as luscious as these red patent leather pumps Glamour Girl just picked up at Talbots:

The latter, alas, Glamour Girl is returning (to Gilt Groupe) because they’re just not as spectacular in real life as they looked in the picture.
