Smashbox Photo Finish Light Foundation Primer - Reviewed

We first learned about this foundation primer from one of the models at our photoshoot. Her skin looked flawless (a.k.a. Nicole Kidman) and we were all ooo’ing and ahh’ing, and then she said, “Okay, enough.  The truth is, I have pretty bad skin.” After the shoot, she proved it by removing her makeup.  And although we can’t say her skin was horrible, she did, indeed, have some acne scars and discoloration.  Her secret to faking us out was the Smashbox Photo Finish Light Foundation Primer.  This is an oil-free and paraben-free makeup, so thumbs up immediately there.  It’s loaded with water (which we love)—60%!  And the vitamin C and peptides—plus all the other ingredients we can’t even pronounce—help absorb oil, and seem to raise up any pits, and lower any zits, and even out every different tone so that your skin becomes a beautiful palate for the next phase of getting dolled-up—the foundation.  We love that it’s lightweight, that it doesn’t cause more skin problems (in fact, it seems to help keep them at bay), and that it comes in an air pump, which helps keep bacteria out.  Yay, Smashbox.  Another hit!
