i just love this blog..its so informative..much liked thu
Well done! Here in my new home, on the coast of Washington state, I thought I was an island in community laden with a plethora of every type of Christian church. After searching the web and phone books, I thought the nearest temple was 100 miles away.
Only recently did I meet another Jewish woman who told me of a very small congregation only 30 miles away. Like Brigadoon, it is not readily noticeable, nor is it listed or advertised anywhere. Fortuitously, I learned of it just in time for Rosh Hashanah.
Like the song says, you don’t know what you’ve got ‘til it’s gone.
Thanks Neil! Just like you - I love the service and the hallway.
Nice piece, Neil. And better than the old “Greenberg goes to talk to God, I go to talk to Greenberg” Hope the New Year is sweet for you and your family—and storm free!
