The quiet talk in Baltimore’s renown interfaith dialogue circles in recent years has often gravitated toward how Archbishop Edwin F. O’Brien – while far from an obstacle –seemed uninterested in the rapprochement of the religious communities. That was a sharp contrast to the work of his immediate predecessor, Cardinal William H.
